Sandra Bullock has filed for divorce from Jesse James and is following in the Hollywood trend of adopting an ethnic baby. Her and Jesse had started the adoption process together, but after the divorce Sandra took it into her own hands to go through with it. She hopes that in the future Jesse will be able to be baby Louis Bardo Bullock's father figure not matter how they choose to gone on with their lives apart from each other. Jesse was quoted saying, "I know in my heart that I can be the best father possible to my four children and the mate Sandy deserves, and realize that this is an incredible mountain to climb. But believe the steps I have taken in the last 30 days are the foundation to making this happen." I think it is awesome that Sandra was able to finish the adoption process and have this beautiful baby to love and love her back. This baby does promise a continuous tie to Jesse though and I wonder if Sandra is hopeful for a possible future with him or actually done and moving on. Since it took Sandra so long to find a man she saw herself spending her life with and then having that fail, I wonder if adopting this baby will be used to fill the void of being able to have a committed, loving relationship with a man and being able to have babies of her own.
